Inside Him.

It's sitting in a folder of recordings. We get it out.

מֹשֶׁה קִיבֵּל תּוֹרָה מִסִּינַי, וּמְסָרָהּ לִיהוֹשֻׁעַ
"Moses received the Torah from Sinai and transmitted it to Joshua." - Pirkei Avot 1:1
Every link in that chain required someone to write it down. The Mishnah was oral until Rabbi Yehuda HaNasi transcribed it - because Torah in exile cannot survive on memory alone. The Talmud. The Zohar. The Tanya. All began as shiurim.

Your recordings are the next link.
MePihem exists to write them down.

וְלֹא יָמוּשׁוּ מִפִּיךָ
"They shall not depart from your mouth." - Isaiah 59:21

Your Torah Is
Disappearing.

What exists today

Hundreds of shiurim. Thousands of listeners.

You've been teaching for years. The recordings exist. Your community knows your voice. But none of it is a book - and recordings don't survive generations.

What you want

A sefer. Your words, your Torah, in print.

Something to give a bar mitzvah boy. Something a student can study from. Something that carries your name and your Torah into the next generation.

Why it hasn't happened

You don't have time to write a book.

You're teaching, respondig to shailos, running a community. A book takes years. You don't have years. You have Shabbos to prepare for.

What we do

We turn your recordings into a manuscript. You show up and teach.

Send us what you have. We handle everything else - transcription, structure, polish, formatting. You receive a publication-ready manuscript.

Simple. Three Steps.

No new work required. No writing. No editing sessions. Just send what you already have.

Frequently Asked.

Do you accept analog recordings - cassettes, VHS, old tapes?
Yes. We can work with any format. Analog materials (cassette, VHS, reel) require digitization first - a one-time fee applies, typically $20–50 per tape depending on length and condition. We'll let you know the exact cost before we begin.
Do you help with the actual publishing process?
We deliver a print-ready manuscript (DOCX + PDF). We can also support self-publishing for an additional fee - layout, cover design coordination, and upload to platforms like KDP or Lulu. Traditional publishing - finding a press, distribution, ISBN - is in your hands; we're happy to recommend resources.
Who takes care of the Haskamot (rabbinic endorsements)?
Haskamot are a relationship between the Rav and his rabbinic peers - we don't arrange them. But we deliver the manuscript in exactly the format a posek or publisher expects to review: clean, properly formatted, and accompanied by a summary of the work's scope and content.
What is your quality assurance process?
Every chapter is machine-supported drafted, then reviewed by a human editor for flow, accuracy, and tone. We sample against the source recording to verify key halachic statements and source citations. You receive a full draft before anything is finalized - your feedback shapes the final version.
How involved do I need to be?
As involved as you want. Some rabbis review each chapter carefully and send detailed notes. Others simply receive the finished manuscript and request minor adjustments. We adapt to your working style - just let us know your preference upfront.
Can you handle bilingual or Hebrew-primary manuscripts?
Yes. We support Hebrew-English mixed content, including proper RTL formatting, nikkud, and source citations in both languages. For primarily Hebrew manuscripts, we work with Hebrew-fluent editors to ensure the text reads naturally in ספרים style.
What if my recording quality is poor?
We've worked with everything from professional studio audio to old phone recordings taken across a Shabbos table. Very degraded audio may require extra processing time and could affect turnaround slightly - we'll assess it upfront and let you know before committing to a timeline.
